Guys shorts

Has anyone else noticed that men's casual walking shorts appear to be getting shorter? I am referring to the distance from the inseam to the hem at the bottom of the leg. I have noticed during this past summer guys wearing shorts with the leg ending approximate mid thigh. I am sure those of us of a certain age can remember 20 or so years ago when all guys' shorts would be at mid thigh. I miss those days...still have the shorts....waiting!

Much preferred the long shorts. I could wear my lace trimmed pettipants under them without the lace showing (not too obviously that is).

Oh yes and I can't wait for them to get shorter. I have found a few with a 2 inch inseam. Wanting shorter.
