Yes! Attach a big safety pin and if need be, a piece of ribbon to the zipper, then you can reach it to pull it all the way up and remove it when you're done.

A ribbon and safety pin is definitely a good idea but sometimes can be hard to control the shuttle from getting jammed up.

I use a sent of medical forceps. I have a long string tied to the handle of the forceps. It's easy clamp on and off as well as zip up.

I have worn dresses....but when I ordered they were the pull up variety and no zippers at at all.

Both of my dresses have buttons going all the way down. That way I can leave the lower buttons undone to show off my lacy slips.
