I am worried that being openly Transgender in the United States of America is personally risky due to the current political climate in this country. In case it is not obvious to the reader, there is an authoritarian takeover of the United States Government in progress. This puts the rights of everyone, citizen and non-citizen alike, at risk - especially those of us who identify as Transgender. (posted August, 2025)
