craneman's blog post - Nighty alterations

So I have some lingerie and nighties of my mother in laws that I have borrowed, stolen, rescued from the goodwill pill. I have 3 nightgowns that I luv, different styles and looks but are fun and arousing to wear. What's the problem, they are kinda lond and I'm more of a short babydoll fan, i like them to stop in the crotch, cock area for length. So i have a plan.
I want to have them cut and hemmed to the length i want, one is 8" too long, the others much more. Then the extra material have some matching panties made, string bikini or thong. There is plenty of material to do so with some elastic bands.
I also saved a real cute slip, white nylon with beautiful lace bodice and trim around the bottom, it's just too tight. Shes a medium size, I'm a at-large sissy, i can wear it but not real comfortably. I think the excess material from the white nylon slip chemise nighty can be put in the sides to give me room, or add some lace panels on the sides.
Next is a satin short of my wifes, a old floral short that I luv to wear as it was hers and shes gone. Ig is worn out at waist, stretched, I'm going to see if they can repair. I wish I had the top to go with it but cant find it.
I plan on telling the seamstress that it's for my wife, but it's for me.
